Protecting Illinois Beach State Park for over 50 years
 
 The Illinois Dunesland Preservation Society

Founded over 50 years ago, Dunesland helped establish Illinois Beach State Park.  The Society was also instrumental in having the south end of the Park designated as the first Federally Protected Critical Habitat in the United States.
